AAHA HospitalChoosing a Veterinarian ~ AAHA ACCREDITATION

Animal Medical & Surgical Center is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association. Approximately 14% of veterinary hospitals in the United States and Canada are members of this elite association. AAHA accredited hospitals adhere to the highest-quality standards available, which helps ensure the best care for your pet.

This state-of-the-art medical center has been the life-long dream of Dr. Charles M. Pullen.

The medical center brings to the community, an unparalleled facility, where clients can bring their pets and feel that they are in a place where only the best is offered, where excellence drives every service that is provided.

When asked why he is in business Dr. Pullen stated "I love what I do and look forward to new challenges every day after 40 years of practice. I feel the human-animal bond is a precious God-given gift. People’s companion animals literally become their family members, and that bond they share is indeed remarkable, gratifying, and means the world to them. I am in the business of restoring or “healing” that emotional bond when it is shattered or interrupted by illness or injury. To be able to see and experience the gratitude from my clients and their pets, when I am able to play a role in restoring or protecting that bond, provides me with a tremendous sense of satisfaction and contribution to the community.

Along these same lines, contributing to the health and well-being of animals that are involved in pet therapy, also gives a great sense of contribution to the community. Pet therapy today is playing a vital role in the emotional well-being of many groups of people from abused, neglected, and at-risk children, to people with physical and emotional challenges, behavioral problems, and the elderly to name a few. We also support many rescue organizations in the Valley. What a tremendous honor it is for me to treat these wonderful animals."
