Angular Limb Deformity (Corrective Osteotomy)

Angular limb deformity (Corrective Osteotomy): Angular limb deformities can occur in multiple bones of pets. These can be genetic, developmental, or due to trauma in young patients. Your family veterinarian may refer you to AMSC for discussion of long-term management or surgical correction. Typically, these conditions will need diagnostics such as x-rays as well as likely CT scans to make a 3-D bone model for surgical planning of the correction.
