Arthroscopy: Arthroscopy is quickly becoming the gold standard for treatment of most joint problems in our pets. Problems ranging from fragmented medial coronoids in the elbow, to meniscal or cruciate ligament tears, or OCD lesions of the shoulder, AMSC can treat them all, and we can do it with a minimal amount of discomfort and with much higher precision than traditional open surgeries (arthrotomies). Performing these procedures in a minimally invasive manner is generally associated with shorter hospitalization, less pain, quicker recovery and possibly fewer complications. The growth of minimally invasive surgery (MIS) in orthopedics has been dramatic in small animal surgery which has improved patient care.
