Parasite Tests and Treatments for Puppies and Kittens

Parasites can be a problem for pets, and some puppies and kittens may have roundworms. Roundworms are intestinal parasites that can cause coughing, weight loss, and a potbellied appearance.

It is important for new pets to be treated for roundworms, not only to help rid them of the infection but also to prevent you and the rest of your family from becoming infected. Roundworms and certain other parasites can be transmitted from pets to people. By ensuring that your new pet is properly treated, you can keep your entire family safe.

We enjoy partnering with our clients to provide the highest quality veterinary care possible for your new puppy or kitten. Please contact us to schedule an appointment.
