Dr. Sterling grew up in the beautiful city of Saratoga Springs, New York. She received her undergraduate degrees in Psychobiology and Music from Binghamton University in New York, then traveled to Scotland to complete her veterinary degree at the University of Edinburgh in 2015. Dr. Sterling went on to complete an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, followed by a Neurology and Neurosurgery internship at Pieper Veterinary in Middletown, Connecticut in 2018. She then completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania’s Referral Center for Animal Models of Human Disease, with a focus on Neimann-Pick Disease Type C.
Dr. Sterling is fascinated by all aspects of clinical neurology, but has a particular interest in neurosurgery. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling to new places, marathon-training, and serenading her two cats (Leeloo and Peach) on viola and guitar.
